Mental Health Acute Inpatient Treatment

Many individuals and families suffer from mental illness. River Point Behavioral Health offers age-specific treatment services in a safe, private setting for adolescents, adults and seniors. We provide professional and individualized recovery plans based on personal needs. River Point Behavioral Health evaluates the medical necessity of all individuals and determines if our treatment programs can meet those needs, regardless of gender, race, creed, national origin or religious affiliation. Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs:

Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs are on-campus day and evening programs that offers the intensity of acute inpatient care without having to stay overnight in the hospital. These programs are a great way to get immediate intervention from a psychiatrist, nurse and licensed therapist, which can often prevent hospitalization. Its also a great step-down option from inpatient care. Each patient entering the adult partial hospitalization or intensive outpatient program will have an individualized treatment based on his or her needs.

Advantages of Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs:

Patient continues to live at home, but comes to hospital for care
Weekly psychiatric oversight and supervision
Skilled nursing interventions
Multidisciplinary treatment team
Stabilization of condition that would otherwise result in hospitalization
Hospital stays may be shortened by step down to PHP or IOP
Less intensive, less expensive alternative to hospitalization
Specialty programs available
Patients with dual diagnosis can participate in both tracks of PHP/IOP programs
