Drug and Alcohol Addiction

River Point Behavioral Health’s professional help individual and families understand and accept their addiction. Our treatment team offers the support and motivation needed to enter the recovery and healing process. We help overcome the stigma attached to those suffering from substance abuse and chemical dependency. Dual Diagnosis

Dual Diagnosis Program combines the treatments for psychiatric illness and chemical dependency, enabling both problems to be addressed simultaneously. This means acknowledging the complex relationship between these two problems and allowing individuals to follow a program that focuses on their recovery needs for both, their chemical dependency and their psychiatric illness.

We provide continuum of care, including:

Hospital based detoxification (medical model, patients seen by physicians)
Inpatient Rehabilitation
Partial Hospitalization
Outpatient Intensive Rehabilitation
Aftercare

Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs:

Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs are on-campus day and evening programs that offers the intensity of acute inpatient care without having to stay overnight in the hospital. These programs are a great way to get immediate intervention from a psychiatrist, nurse and licensed therapist, which can often prevent hospitalization. Its also a great step-down option from inpatient care. Each patient entering the adult partial hospitalization or intensive outpatient program will have an individualized treatment based on his or her needs.

Advantages of Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs:

Patient continues to live at home, but comes to hospital for care
Weekly psychiatric oversight and supervision
Skilled nursing interventions
Multidisciplinary treatment team
Stabilization of condition that would otherwise result in hospitalization
Hospital stays may be shortened by step down to PHP or IOP
Less intensive, less expensive alternative to hospitalization
Specialty programs available
Patients with dual diagnosis can participate in both tracks of PHP/IOP programs
